Cranfield Regatta organised by MBA students at Cranfield School of Management, UK, in July 2010

The 19th annual Cranfield Regatta, organised by MBA students at Cranfield School of Management, is inviting companies to register crews for the two-day event which takes place on 9 – 11 July 2010 in the Solent, England. Teams will compete in ‘fixed points’ races on the Saturday and Sunday in a fleet of Sunfast 37 yachts. A dinner will be held on Saturday evening for all participating crews at the Island Sailing Club in Cowes.

The Cranfield Regatta is the largest MBA Sailing Regatta in Europe, with past attendance from leading business schools such as LBS, Oxford Saïd, Cambridge Judge, Booth (Chicago School of Business), IESE (Spain) and INSEAD.

Companies can participate by either becoming a sponsor or by entering a boat. Entrants will be given a yacht and safety equipment, accommodation, food and entry to the associated events for eight crew members (six crew, one skipper and one first mate). Sailing experience is not required and qualified skippers and first mates can be hired.
